The overall project comprised the installation of a new industrial unit. 172 CSA piles were installed in the ground to support the footprint of the
Building to support the weight of the machinery that will be being used in the Building and also because it was constructed on an old river bed.
A Mezzanine Floor was installed 9 meters above ground level. As the Unit was attached to a Foundry an intumescent paint was used to protect the steel against fire.
Health and Safety was closely monitored on this project because Weir Minerals was in full use throughout the works being carried out.

“This was a difficult project, client, project manager, weather and difficult site access, a successful outcome. Job well done!”
